PokerLight Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect and Use
To provide device connection, light control, timers, voice prompts, and full-screen display features, PokerLight may process the following information locally on your device:
- Device connection information: ESP32 device name, device ID, IP address, port, recent connection address, and connection status.
- App configuration: seat count, light settings, timer settings, tournament levels, voice settings, interface preferences, and custom display settings.
- Image assets: when you choose an image, the app reads the selected image for a full-screen logo or background and may save the processed file locally.
- Diagnostic information: the app may display network, device response, or operation failure messages locally to help you troubleshoot connection issues.
This information is primarily stored locally on your device to enable app functionality. Unless you choose to send it to us by email or another support channel, we do not actively collect it on our servers.
2. System Permissions
Local Network
PokerLight needs local network access to discover and connect to ESP32 lighting devices on the same local network and to send light, timer, and status commands.
Photo Library
When you select a custom full-screen logo or background image, PokerLight needs access to your photo library. The app reads only the image you choose.
Camera
If the system or file picker lets you take a photo for a custom display asset, PokerLight may request camera access. The app does not take photos or videos without your action.
Location
Some system versions or network features may require location permission to help discover nearby local-network devices. PokerLight uses this permission only to discover and connect lighting devices, and does not record your precise location history.
3. Storage and Sharing
PokerLight device configuration, image assets, and preferences are generally stored locally on your device. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertising platforms.
We may process information you provide in the following limited cases:
- you voluntarily send issue descriptions, screenshots, logs, or device information to us for support;
- we need to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or lawful requests from authorities;
- we need to protect the lawful rights and safety of users, developers, or the public.
4. Third-Party SDKs and Services
PokerLight uses Flutter and related platform plugins for file selection, local storage, text-to-speech, network connection, and similar app features. These components are used to provide app functionality and are not used for advertising tracking or cross-app profiling.
If a future version adds a new third-party service involving personal information processing, we will update this policy and request consent when required.
5. Children's Privacy
PokerLight is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe we have collected such information unintentionally, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can manage PokerLight permissions for photos, camera, location, and local network in your system settings. You can also remove locally stored information by deleting the app, clearing app data, or deleting custom assets.
If you have voluntarily sent support information to us, you may contact us by email to request access, correction, or deletion of that information.
7. Policy Updates
We may update this policy based on product changes, legal requirements, or platform review requirements. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
